Frequently asked questions

  • Will my conditions change?

    No. By switching to Commerz Globalpay, you will benefit from many new features, which are already available on the platform or will be developed in the future, but your favorable conditions will not change. Your contract will be transferred from Global Payments Germany to Commerz Globalpay.

  • How do I receive my bills?

    You can find your statements in our “Marketplace” digital customer portal, which you can access anytime and anywhere. There, you can view them at any time, but of course you can also download them. If you wish, you can also have the statements sent to you automatically by e-mail.

  • How quickly will I receive my money in my account?

    You will now receive credit card payments even faster. By default, the money for all kinds of transactions will be on your account on the following day (bank working day).

  • Do I still have access to “BIS”?

    You will continue to have access to BIS for a transitional period, e.g. to download historical statements or keep access to the used BIS reports but we strongly recommend to download all historical statements (invoices, clearing & avis) as this platform will be discontinued this year as well. Your new portal is “Marketplace”.

  • What is “Marketplace”?

    Marketplace is our digital customer portal: View many reports, download invoices or even add clever analysis tools – Marketplace is the place for you to view your transactions and it simplifies your cashless payment management. Once registered, you have access to all these functions.

  • How do I get access to the “Marketplace” customer portal?

    Go to your Marketplace invitation email and click on the attached link, follow the registration instructions, then log in in the Marketplace and you have access to all features.

    Tip: You can’t find the email anymore? Simply search your email program for the subject "Invitation to register for our customer service portal".

  • How do I manage my chargebacks?

    A chargeback is a reversal of a payment amount. A cardholder has up to 120 days after a transaction to request a chargeback and dispute the payment made. If such a chargeback occurs, we as the acquirer and interface between the card organizations and the merchant are first informed of this incident and charge the chargeback amount. You will then receive an automatic e-mail from us with all the important information. Simply follow the instructions in this e-mail, contact our support team for existing customers immediately and provide your supporting documentation to object to a chargeback within the given time frame. You as a merchant will only be charged if the objection process is not successful.

  • Is there a digital receipt archive?

    Not yet, but we are already working on it and expect to roll it out in the second half of 2025.

  • I have received a communication (post, letter or call) about replacing my terminal, but I have not requested a new terminal.

    Yes, we have sent you these notifications. We are renewing the terminal base and will therefore send you a new one. The old one will cease to work on June 30, 2025 at the latest. So please start using the new one as soon as possible to avoid any interruption. Before disconnecting your old terminal, please make sure to perform a batch close (Kassenschnitt). Please return your old terminal with the return label as soon as the new one starts working.

  • Do I have to pay for this new terminal?

    No, this is covered by your existing contract.

  • Where can I order new paper rolls?

    We are going to add paper rolls to our existing accessory shop soon. Until then, please order them online from one of the usual sources, e.g. Amazon.
